Miss Justine
Principal
I started dancing at the age of three, training at the Bristol School of Dancing in England. I was fortunate to perform regularly in pantomimes and shows at the Bristol Hippodrome, gaining early stage experience that sparked my love of performing
At 17, I began my training at Laine Theatre Arts, near London, studying dance and drama while also achieving my ISTD teaching qualifications.
I started my professional dance career with a contract in Japan. Over the next five years, I performed in shows internationally and in the UK, while also teaching freelance at dance schools in the Bristol area.
I was also a supporting artist in film and television during this time. In 2003, I was lucky enough to work on the feature film ‘Vanity Fair’, as a double and stand-in for Reese Witherspoon.
In 1998, I took over a dance school in Stockwood, Bristol, marking the beginning of Justine Garner Dance School in the UK. In 2002, I expanded the school by opening a branch in Sitges. In 2016, I sold the UK branch, which continues to thrive today under its new ownership as the Natalie White School of Dance.
In October 2014, I began teaching Tap at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, where I continue to work today, while also remaining fully committed to teaching and developing the Justine Garner Dance School Sitges.

Amelia Alex
Amelia has been dancing since the age of two and has never looked back.
As a young performer, Amelia worked with the Huddersfield Light Opera Company from the age of 12, where she appeared in their annual pantomime. She then received her debut leading role as Rumpleteaser in their production of ‘Cats the Musical.’ She worked as an Extra in Forge Entertainment’s Ackley Bridge on Channel 4. She has also worked with Dr Ross McKimm, modelling for the new ISTD Contemporary syllabus video.
At 16, she performed in the Miss Dance of Great Britain Finals. Amelia made her professional screen debut in Bat Bridge Entertainment’s documentary, ‘Catching Lightning’ where she appeared as the role of Stacey Dudley, before training professionally at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. There, she gained her BA (Hons) in Commercial Dance and went on to complete a Masters in Musical Theatre.
With a love for all styles of dance, Amelia now teaches across genres – from commercial and musical theatre to contemporary and beyond. Her passion lies in passing on her expertise and inspiring the next generation of dancers. Nothing makes her happier than seeing children grow in confidence, develop their skills, and discover the same joy in dance that has shaped her own life.
